first week: the day of the medication.

Today i worked with vanessa. This week i'm standing on Floor 1( next week i on ground floor) I really like her and she explains everything well. My job is to help her with the medication and do the parameters. I start to know the clients names and their behaviour. For the rest i don't do much, so I have a lot of time to do extra work for myself(like working out medication or read papers).

I think I manage to do the parameters well. I write them all down and just go to their room and check them. If something is of, I go to the nurse and discuss it with her.

I still find medication hard. I know with certain types of medication do but I do not know the names. So i wrote a lot of them down and worked out what they were. 

I learned a lot about different kind of medicine and Vanessa told me that i have to be carefull with the dose of the medication because sometimes the dose on the box is different then the prescription dose.
