so different but I forgot why

Today  was my first day on ground floor. In this floor, all the people are diagnosed wit dementia en some sort of neurological problem that needs special attention. I was so shocked with the way they cared.

First of all they wash different then we do. they don' t tell the patient what they are doing and are practically throwing them to the other side. I helped with the washings because I wanted to, but every time I tried to do something they would correct me. I didn't say anything about it because I wanted to listen first. but in the end I felt completely useless.

for the most day I just spend my time sitting in the nurse station and do nothing but read readers form medicine. I did do the blood pressures and talk with the people. they seemed to like that.
